1. Data Controller

This website is operated by Oyuncunun Yeri (oyuncununyeri.com). We handle your personal data in accordance with the applicable legislation.

2. Data We Collect

  • Session cookies: Technical cookies required for the site to function.
  • IP address (administration): Held in raw form only for admin panel access, for audit-log purposes.
  • IP address (member activity): For actions you take as a member (sign-in, comment, rating, favourite), the audit log stores only an irreversibly hashed form of your IP address together with your browser information; your raw IP address is not stored.
  • Play measurement: For every visitor, an irreversibly hashed form of your IP address and your browser information (user agent) are recorded in order to count game plays and distinguish repeat plays. Your raw IP address is not stored for this purpose.
  • On-site search: To measure which terms are searched for, your search term, a hashed form of your IP address and the number of results are recorded. Your raw IP address is not stored for this purpose.
  • Analytics data: Anonymous site usage statistics may be collected (only if you have given cookie consent).
  • Membership data (optional): If you choose to register, we store your email address, your display name and an irreversibly hashed form of your password. When you use membership features, your favourites, play history, ratings and comments are associated with your account. Membership is entirely optional; the site can be used without registering.

2a. Membership: Your Self-Service Rights

  • Data portability: Using "Download my data" on your account page, you can download everything we hold about you as JSON.
  • Deletion: From your account page you can permanently delete your account by confirming with your password. Your account, favourites, play history and ratings are deleted immediately and irreversibly. For your comments you choose one of two options during deletion: your comments may remain on the site (your name shows as "Deleted member" and the link to your account is severed), or they may be deleted entirely together with their replies. The default is that comments remain — because the option that also destroys other members' reply threads should be chosen deliberately, not by leaving the form as it was.
  • Email: Your email address is used only for transactional messages such as verification and password reset; no marketing email is sent.

3. Third-Party Content and Cookies

The games on our site belong to third-party publishers and are served through an iframe. These games may set their own cookies. We have no direct control over those cookies.

Analytics services (where enabled) may use additional cookies.

3a. Third parties your data is transferred to

The following services are involved when you use the site and see at least your IP address and browser information. All of them host their servers abroad, so this constitutes a transfer abroad:

  • Google Ireland Ltd. — Google Analytics 4. Visit statistics. Loaded only if you have given cookie consent; if you decline, it never runs.
  • Cloudflare, Inc. Sits in front of the site (security and acceleration) and also runs Cloudflare Web Analytics. Web Analytics uses no cookies, writes nothing to your device and does not fingerprint; it is therefore outside the scope of cookie consent and keeps working even if you decline.
  • GameDistribution (Azerion). The games you play are served from this provider through an iframe; the games may set their own cookies, over which we have no control.
  • Google Fonts. Typefaces are loaded from here.
  • Error tracking. Technical error records are sent to an error-tracking service (GlitchTip) that we host on our own server; these records are scrubbed so that they contain no identity information or session keys.

This list reflects the services active on the site at the time of writing. If a new measurement or marketing script is enabled from the admin panel, this section must be updated as well.

4. Purpose of Processing and Legal Basis

  • Technical operation of the site (legitimate interest)
  • Keeping a record of admin panel access for security and audit purposes (legitimate interest)
  • Processing a hashed IP address and browser information in order to count game plays (legitimate interest)
  • Processing a hashed IP address together with the search term in order to measure on-site search terms (legitimate interest)
  • Compiling anonymous usage statistics (consent-based, subject to your cookie consent)

5. Children's Privacy

Our site is aimed at a general audience; it does not target a particular age group and all game content is open to everyone. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Membership is entirely optional and all game content on the site can be used without registering; visitors who are not members are not asked for identifying information.

If you believe that a child's personal data has been provided to us without consent, you can reach us at info@oyuncununyeri.com; the data in question will be deleted.

6. Retention Periods

  • Session cookies: Expire when the browser is closed.
  • Audit logs: Kept for 90 days for security purposes, then deleted automatically.
  • Play measurement (hashed IP + browser information): Kept for 90 days, then deleted automatically.
  • On-site search records (hashed IP + search term): Kept for 90 days, then deleted automatically.
  • Trash bin and background job records: Permanently deleted after 30 days.
  • Membership data: Kept for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account yourself, your data is deleted immediately (see §2a).
  • Suspended (banned) accounts: If your account has been suspended for breaking the rules, your data is retained for as long as the suspension is in force and is not deleted automatically. The reason is that a suspension is a moderation decision and can be reversed if necessary. Because you cannot sign in with a suspended account, you cannot reach the self-service deletion flow; if you want your data deleted, you can request it at info@oyuncununyeri.com, and your request will be concluded within the period prescribed by the applicable data protection legislation.
  • Analytics data: Stored anonymously and in aggregate.

7. Your Rights (KVKK Article 11 / GDPR)

As a data subject you have the following rights:

  • To learn whether your personal data is being processed
  • To request information about it if it has been processed
  • To request that the data be corrected or deleted
  • To request that processing be restricted
  • To exercise the right to data portability
  • To object to processing

Members can download their data and delete their account directly from their account page (see section 2a). For any other request you may write to info@oyuncununyeri.com.
