Mickey Mouse Card Match
About the Game
Meet Mickey Mouse, the hilarious cartoon star and official mascot for The Walt Disney Company! Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks brought this anthropomorphic mouse to life in 1928 at the Walt Disney Studios. He is famous for his red shorts, big yellow shoes, and white gloves. Mickey made his first public appearance in a test screening called Plane Crazy before officially debuting in Steamboat Willie in 1928, one of the earliest sound cartoons ever made. Over the years, he starred in more than 130 films like The Band Concert, Brave Little Tailor, and Fantasia. While mostly known for short films, Mickey also appeared in feature-length movies. Ten of his cartoons got Academy Award nominations, with Lend a Paw taking home the Best Animated Short Film award in 1942. In 1978, he became the first cartoon character to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
