About the Game
Step into Kingdom of Pixels, a 2D MOBA and platformer that brings the nostalgic charm of pixel art to the battlefield! Pick from a huge lineup of heroes and smash the enemy crystal to claim victory. Earn gold by taking down enemy minions and heroes so you can craft powerful items, and gain experience to level up and get stronger. Use map tools like Runes and Brushes to your advantage and steer the match in your direction! With many heroes and items available, every game feels fresh and exciting. Select a melee or ranged hero that deals Normal or Magic damage, tailor your item build to match your playstyle, and defeat foes with clever plans and strategies! The game is currently in Pre-Alpha, so developers are adding new features and improvements all the time. Average match length: ~15 minutes Current playable game modes: 1 v 1 Ranked Match (Face off against a rival!) 2 v 2 Ranked Match (Team up with a partner and win together!) Practice Match (Play alone and test different item combos with your favorite hero!) How to play: You can only buy items at your spawn point, so plan your loadout carefully before stepping into the lane! Win by having your minions destroy the enemy crystal. You cannot damage the crystal directly, so rely on your minions for that final blow. Clear the path to the enemy crystal by taking down their tower. This boosts your minion stats and gives you a huge edge! Strategies: Before the match begins, enjoy a 45-second prep window that counts down to zero. When it hits zero, the first wave of minions appears along with the Gold Rune in the upper area. Use this time to stand near the Gold Rune and grab extra gold! Whenever you shop for items, save some cash for at least one Health Potion! A Health Potion lets you stay in lane longer by keeping your health high enough to react to enemy moves. Remember not to take damage while drinking it, or the healing will stop mid-effect! Buff Runes appear every minute starting at 01:00 in the bottom area. Grab these buffs to turn the tide against opponents, especially in 2v2 battles!
